This year's YWCE features many exciting conservation and outdoor activities for young boys and girls! Explore wildlife calls, geo caching, turkey and deer hunting tips, big game conservation, and exposure to youth shooting sports opportunities! There will also be drawings and handouts of outdoor gear, wildlife calling contest prizes and a great lunch!

The Y.W.C.E. was first envisioned just a little over nine years ago when Larry and Brenda Potterfield of Midway U.S.A. offered KC-SCI a very generous endowment.

The current Foundation Board of Directors consist of Mike Hagen, Paul Kalicki, Pam Todd, and Rodney Heinsohn. The Board is looking at raising additional funds in order to expand to other events. SCI has recently partnered with Boys & Girls of America and we are currently investigating opportunities with the Scouts on the local level.

Funded by the "Larry Potterfield Family Foundation."
